Here is a scarce Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military-style watch referred to as a cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, and that is where they got the name "cigarette watch." Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market, most of which are with refinished dial or deplorable conditions. This particular one still retains its factory original finish nicely aged dial. The watch will come with a new crystal—a new rubber case back gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 10131045, dating this watch to 1944. The original solid stainless steel unpolished case measures 35.2mm across, excluding the crown by 42.5mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-2. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm handmade vintage style genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo measures 6 inches.
