This is a little-known vintage Omega Seamaster diver-type watch. While collectors are familiar with the famous Seamaster 120, 300, and other diver models, the Seamaster 60M is not well known among watch enthusiasts. This particular piece has been professionally serviced and is ready for daily wear.
The factory's original blue dial is in very good condition, and the original crystal has minor marks. The rotating bezel is also in very good original condition. The luminous paste on the hands are there, but partially show some age darkening. The solid stainless steel case is in great shape, with the case model being 166.062. It measures 37mm across, excluding the crown, and 42.2mm from lug tip to lug tip. This watch will come with a brand new case back gasket and it has an original screw-lock crown.
Additionally, it includes a new handmade 19mm genuine leather strap. The automatic movement is an Omega calibre 565, with a serial number of 30309888, dating the watch to 1969. The movement features a quick-set date function. This is a rare find and one of the finest examples available. This watch is ready for daily wear! The wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
