Here is a rare Omega Railmaster Official Automatic watch. This Railmaster version is little known by collectors and only exists briefly, with limited pieces produced for the US market. The reason is that the dial design had some controversies with the Ball watch company "Rail track" dial, so Omega had to stop producing this dial quickly. Another thing to note is that even though it says "Railmaster" on the dial, it uses the same case reference as the Seamaster. The 17 jewels movement is an Omega calibre 550 with a swan neck regulator. It has been fully serviced and running accurately. The movement serial number is 24745754, dating this watch to 1966. Attractive factory original dial in excellent condition. It is also the first Railmaster to come with an automatic movement, and the red second hand is commonly replaced with something else painted in red. The red second on this watch is 100% original and correct. Original signed crown and originally signed crystal—brand new 18mm matching high-quality genuine leather strap. The original solid stainless steel case measures 34.6mm, excluding the crown by 41mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model reference is 165.002. This watch is in its original unpolished condition, and the wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
