Here is a highly collectible Omega Constellation pie pan watch in exceptional condition. It’s clear that the original owner barely wore this watch, as it has been preserved beautifully. The case shows minor wear, with edges that still retain their original sharpness and chamfers. This is truly a remarkable example for this reference.
The pristine factory-original pie pan dial is sharp and attractive, and the original case features a solid gold bezel and case back medallion, with gold-capped lugs over solid stainless steel. It also retains its original pie pan crown and the signed acrylic crystal is in great shape. New case back gasket.
The case model is 167.005, measuring 34.2mm across (excluding the crown) and 42.6mm from lug tip to lug tip. This model is famously known as the Gérald Genta "dog legs" case Constellation. The watch has been fully serviced and is running strong. It houses a 24-jewel automatic movement, an Omega calibre 551, with the serial number 20911730, dating it to 1963.
Included with the watch is a new genuine 18mm leather strap. The wrist size in the provided photo is 6 inches.
