Here is a stunning and clean vintage Omega Pre-Seamaster De Ville gent's watch.  It has been professionally serviced and is ready for everyday wearing.  The automatic wind movement is an Omega caliber 562 with 24 jewels.  The movement serial number dates this watch 1961.  The unpolished solid stainless steel case measures 34mm across, excluding the crown by 40mm from lug tip to lug tip.  The case model is 14770-2 SC. The crystal is brand new.  Uncommon texture finish factory original dial in great condition showing minor age spots.  It will come with a brand new 18mm genuine leather strap.  The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.   The reason why it is called a "pre-Seamaster Deville" is because, this case design originally came unsigned (like this one) or with just the word "Seamaster" on the dial.  Around 1962 is when the additional word "Deville" was added below the word Seamaster.
