This is a scarce vintage Omega "Tank" automatic watch, also known as the Cartier Tank Francaise of Omega. The factory original finish dial is untouched and aged. The fully serviced 571 automatic wind 24 jewels movement works accurately and running strong. Solid steel unpolished original signed case with personal engraving (watch was given as a gift in 1964) on the case back. The crystal is in excellent condition, but does show some minor dark spots in between the crystal layer which cannot be removed. The movement serial number is 17248594, dating this watch to 1959. The case reference is CK 3999-5 SC and measures 28mm across, excluding the crown by 36mm lug tip to lug tip. It will come with a new 21mm genuine leather strap.
