Here's a very rare vintage Omega Seamaster sub second. Case model 2996-1 which is the same model as the legendary Ranchero model. But this version is only for a third of what the Ranchero cost. The original solid stainless steel case on this watch is in very good condition. Case measures a large 36.4mm in diameter excluding the crown by 44.4mm lug tip to lug tip. This model takes a special case gasket which sit inside the case instead of on the case back. Brand new crystal. Unsigned crown. Very rare factory original dial nicely patina and aged. Original set of dauphine hands retaining their original aged luminous. Unique pencil and numeral hour indexes combination. Professionally serviced manual wind movement working strong and accurate. Omega caliber 284 with serial number 17088947 dating this watch to 1959. The watch will come with a brand new 18mm genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
