Here's a very rare vintage Omega Seamaster sub-second. Case model 2990-1, is the same model as the legendary Ranchero model. But this version is only for about a third of what the Ranchero cost. The original solid stainless steel case on this watch is in great condition. Case measures a large 36.4mm in diameter, excluding the crown by 42.2mm lug tip to lug tip. This model takes a unique case gasket that sits inside the case instead of on the case back—Brand new acrylic crystal. Correct original unsigned crown (the crown may be signed or unsigned for this model). Scarce factory original dial nicely patina. Original set of dauphine hands retaining their original luminous. Unique pencil and numeral hour indexes combination. Professionally serviced manual wind movement working solid and accurate. Omega caliber 267 with serial number 17037250 dating this watch to 1959.
