Here's a very rare vintage Omega Seamaster "Seachero" with center second feature. Case model 2996-1 SC. The original stainless steel case on this watch is in very good unpolished condition. The case measures a large 36.3mm in diameter, excluding the crown by 44mm lug tip to lug tip. This model takes a special case gasket, which sits inside the case instead of on the case back. Original signed crystal in great shape. Original signed crown. Scarce factory original dial nicely aged. This is one of the rarest dial variation you can find for this reference; more rare than its Ranchero version. The dial is shiny with some blemishes around some of the hour indexes and more prominent around the center. The numeral hour indexes have a tinted mirror-like texture. Professionally serviced manual wind movement that worked strongly and accurately. Omega calibre 284 with serial number 16946185, dating this watch to 1958.
