Here's a very rare vintage Omega Seamaster centred-second. Case model 2996-1 SC, is the same model reference as the legendary Ranchero. But this version is only for about a third of what the Ranchero cost. The original solid stainless steel case on this watch is in superb condition. The case measures a large 36.3mm in diameter, excluding the crown by 44.5mm lug tip to lug tip. This model takes a unique case gasket inside instead of on the case back—Original signed acrylic crystal. Correct original signed crown. Scarce factory original dial in excellent condition. The original set of dauphine hands retains their original luminosity—unique pencil and numeral hour indexes combination. Professionally serviced manual wind movement, working solidly and accurately. Omega calibre 284 with serial number 16852820 dates this watch to 1958. The watch will come with a new 18mm genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
