Here's a very rare vintage Omega Seamaster center second. Case model 2996-1 which is the same model as the legendary Ranchero model. But this version is only for about a third of the Ranchero. The original solid stainless steel case on this watch is in excellent unpolished condition. Case measures a large 36.2mm in diameter excluding the crown by 44mm lug tip to lug tip. This model takes a special case gasket which sit inside the case instead of on the case back. Brand new crystal. Correct original signed crown. Very rare factory original dial nicely patina. Original set of dauphine hands retaining their original luminous. Unique pencil and numeral hour indexes combination. Professionally serviced manual wind movement working strong and accurate. Omega caliber 284 with serial number 16942289 dating this watch to 1958. The watch will come with a brand new 18mm genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
