Here is a spectacular and one of the rarest Omega Seamaster Automatic Calendar model. This automatic calendar watch is the "mystery" third generation of the "Seamaster Calendar" model, and it is the first Omega Seamaster model to carry a calendar disc for the 3 o'clock position. The reason it is a "mystery" piece is because, two models were introduced at around the same time period with the calendar at 3. However, only a small handful of this model was made compared to the other model (2849). The 20 jewels movement is an Omega caliber 503 with a swan neck regulator. It has been fully serviced and running accurately. The movement serial number is 16047611, dating this watch to 1957. Factory original dial excellent condition. Original signed crown. Original signed crystal—brand new 18mm matching high-quality genuine leather strap. The gold capped over stainless steel original case measures 34.5mm, excluding the crown by 41.6mm lug tip to lug tip. Case model 2922. The calendar feature is working accurately. This watch is in original unpolished condition. Rare jumbo size Seamaster emblem case back. The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
