1956 OMEGA SEAMASTER WATCH
This is a rare and attractive simple looking vintage Omega Seamaster watch.  This piece is in excellent original condition.  The case is made of solid stainless steel and measures 36mm across excluding crown by 44mm lug tip to lug tip.  A new case back gasket has been fitted.  Case model is 2938-3 SC and is in very good unpolished original condition.  Original signed crown.  Brand new crystal.  The factory original dial is very attractive and is in nicely aged condition.  It is a rare black gilt dial.  The fully serviced manual wind movement is working accurately.  17 jewels movement is Omega caliber 284 which is the same caliber used in a Railmaster model.  It is not very common to come across center second manual wind Omega watches during the early and mid 1950's.  This model is also one of the earliest manual wind Seamaster as well.  Movement serial number is 15137639 dating this watch to 1956.  Will come with a new 18mm matching high grade handmade genuine leather strap.   Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
