During the mid to late 1950s, Omega produced a few imported models for their Canadian and American market.  In order to save cost on shipping duty and material, the case is made by a case manufacturer company known as "Star Case Company".  They produced these special requested cases just for Omega.  Even though these cases are design to fit Omega movements, they are not signed.  Hence, these watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine Omega.  This vintage Omega watch is an example of an imported model.  Rare and fine factory original creamy honeycomb dial.  The case is made of gold filled top with a stainless steel screw case back.  New case back gasket and new crystal.  Crown is original and signed.  The watch has been professionally serviced and working accurately.  The automatic movement is an Omega caliber 501 with serial number 15190099 dating this timepiece to 1956.  The case model is 3131904 and measures 34mm across excluding the crown by 39.4mm lug tip to lug tip.  The watch will come with a brand new 18mm genuine croco grain leather strap.   Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
