This is a very rare solid 18k Omega watch. The case model is not very common, but since the case material is made of solid 18k gold this uncommon timepiece is considered as a very rare example. Case model is 2791 and measures 36mm across excluding the crown by 42.6mm from lug tip to lug tip. The case is unpolished and the case back does show marking left from probably a vintage metal bangle type bracelet resting against the back for decades. It can be polished away appearing like new, but it is highly recommended to leave the case condition as is to hold its true value. Crown is original. Crystal is brand new. Case back gasket is also brand new. Factory original two tone dial is very attractive and show minor visible of aging, more visible in between the 12-1 o'clock hour indexes. The manual wind movement has been professionally serviced and running strong with great accuracy. The movement is an Omega caliber 266 with serial number 14384883 dating this timepiece to 1954. Watch will come complete with a brand new 18mm croco grain genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches. Do not miss this rare find!
