During the mid to late 1950s, Omega produced a few imported models for their Canadian and American market. In order to save cost on shipping duty and material, the case is made by a case manufacturer company known as "Star Case Company". They produced these special request cases just for Omega. Even though these cases are design to fit Omega movements, they are not signed. Hence, these watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine Omega. This vintage Omega watch for sale is an example of an imported model. Rare extra clean factory original black honeycomb dial. The case is made of gold filled top with a stainless steel screw case back. New case back gasket and new crystal. Crown is original and signed. The watch has been professionally serviced and working accurately. The bumper automatic movement is an Omega caliber 344 with serial number 14308432 dating this timepiece to 1954. The case model is 2891733 and measures 34mm across excluding the crown by 41.8mm lug tip to lug tip. The watch will come with a brand new 18mm genuine lizard grain leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
