It is uncommon to find this dial variation with steel indexes as they usually come in gold-tone. The majority of these 6084 dials come signed with "Swiss" or "Swiss Made" below 6 o'clock; however, only a handful of dials originally came unsigned, which makes them unique and more collectible. The professionally serviced automatic movement is a Rolex calibre 645. It is running strong and accurately. The original stainless steel case measures 34mm across, excluding the crown by 39.6mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 6084 with serial number 878331, dating this watch to 1953.
