Here is an extremely rare heavy solid 18k gold Longines Chronometer automatic watch. This piece was invoiced to the Canadian Longines-Wittnauer company thank you to the Longines archivist extra information. The watch originally came with an official rating-certificate, unfortunately, no longer is available with the watch. The thick and heavy gold case measures 35mm across excluding crown by 40mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 6924. The original dial is in excellent condition and has the word Chronometer printed. The rare chronometer adjusted caliber 22AS movement has been serviced and running strong. Movement serial number 9123444 dating this watch to 1953. Brand new crystal. Brand new case back gasket. Will come with a nice genuine leather strap. This watch is like the Omega Centenary of Longines.
