1952 OMEGA SEAMASTER AUTOMATIC
Here is a very rare oversized beefy lugs vintage Omega Seamaster watch. This particular case style is known as the beefy or fat lugs case, and they are commonly seen in 34mm case size. They are also available in the boy size measuring 32mm. However, this particular one is the seldom seen oversized version measuring 36.3mm in diameter excluding the crown by 44mm lug tip to lug tip. Making this timepiece 2mm wider and 2mm longer compared to the regular model. The factory dial on this piece is also very attractive and resemble the 2018 reissued 1948 Seamaster watch dial as well. The original signed case is made of gold filled top over solid stainless steel showing some visible marking. The case is unpolished and the model number is 2494/2657-4. Original signed crown. The crystal is brand new. Brand new case back gasket. Professionally serviced bumper automatic wind movement running strong and accurate. Omega caliber 351 with serial number 13066511 dating this watch to 1952. Will come with a 18mm brand new high quality genuine leather strap.   Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
