Yes, that's right, this is a first generation Globemaster. Before Omega introduced the Constellation line into the American market in 1952, Globemaster is the original name. Due to the lawsuit issue, Globemaster is replaced by Constellation and ever since "Constellation" was printed on the dial right above the star. Globemaster reappears under their own line in the late 50s, 70s and 2017 to present. There are only a handful of this watch for this particular model. The bumper automatic movement caliber is an Omega 354 with serial number 13547091 dating this timepiece to 1952. The case has a solid gold bezel and case back medallion, the lugs are gold capped, and rest of the case is made of solid stainless steel. Case model is 2652-5 and measures 35mm across excluding crown by 42.5mm lug tip to lug tip. Brand new case back gasket. Crystal is brand new. Original signed crown. The dial is factory original without the word "Constellation" indicating this to be the "Globemaster" model. Brand new 18mm genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
