However, the case back has been sanded in the past as there once used to have personal engraving on the back. Solid stainless steel measures 33.3mm across, excluding the crown by 41.7mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2496-12 SC. Original signed crown. Brand new crystal. The factory original dial is stunning with visible signs of age marks. Gold-tone hour indexes and set of original hands. The fully serviced manual wind movement is working accurately. Seventeen jewels movement is Omega calibre 283. Movement serial number is 13400147 dating this watch to 1952. It will come with a new 17mm matching high-grade handmade genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo is 6 inches.
