This is an exceptionally fine and rare vintage Longines watch. It features a unique factory-original dial that is rarely found in such excellent condition. The watch has been professionally serviced and is equipped with the Longines caliber 12.68N manual wind movement. With a serial number of 8242808, it dates back to 1951. After the recent overhaul, the movement appears brand new.
The solid stainless steel case is in outstanding, unpolished condition and has personal engraving on the case back. The case model is 5413-9, measuring 33.5mm across (excluding the crown) and 42.5mm from lug tip to lug tip. The luminous elements on the dial and hands are original but have lost their glow over time. This watch will come with a brand-new crystal.
The crown is unsigned but original to the watch, and it will be paired with a new 16mm genuine leather strap. Vintage Longines watches of this rarity and condition are scarce in today's market. For reference, the wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
