This is an exceptionally fine and rare vintage Longines watch. It features a stunning, uniquely aged "bullseye" factory-original dial, seldom found in such excellent condition. The watch has been professionally serviced and is equipped with the Longines caliber 12.68N manual wind movement, with a serial number of 8231984, dating it to 1951. After the recent overhaul, the movement looks brand new.
The solid stainless steel case is in outstanding unpolished condition and has personal engraving on the case back. The case model is 5413, measuring 33.6mm across (excluding the crown) and 42.6mm from lug tip to lug tip. The luminous elements on the dial and hands are original but have lost their glow over time. This watch will come with a brand-new crystal.
The crown is unsigned but is original to the watch, and it will be paired with a new 16mm genuine leather strap. Vintage Longines watches of this rarity and condition are scarce in today's market. For reference, the wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
