1951 LONGINES "SEI TACCHE"
This is a very attractive and rare vintage Longines watch.  It has a beautiful and well-aged military-style 24hrs factory original dial.  Very seldom will you come across a Longines dial of this era looking this great.  Professionally serviced Longines calibre 23zs manual wind movement with serial number 8294805, dating this watch to 1951.  The serviced movement is in excellent condition.  The solid stainless steel case is in unpolished original condition.  The case model is 6240-4 (141) and measures 31.7mm across, excluding the crown, by 39mm lug tip to lug tip.  The luminous on the dial and hands are original, but, of course, no longer glow.  The watch will come with a brand-new crystal.  The crown is unsigned but original to this watch.  It will come with a brand new 16mm genuine leather strap.  Rare and well-preserved vintage Longines similar to this is scarce in today's market.  Wrist size in the photo is 6 inches. It is a smaller-sized watch made for a smaller wrist or a Longines collector looking to add another rare find to their collection.
