1951 LONGINES "SEI TACCHE"
This is a very attractive and rare vintage Longines watch.  It has a very attractive and extra clean military style factory original dial.  Very seldom will you come across a Longines dial of this era looking this great.  Professionally serviced Longines caliber 27M manual wind movement with serial number 8248783 dating this watch to 1951.  The serviced movement is in excellent condition.  The solid stainless steel case is in unpolished original condition.  Case model is 5696-3 and measures 34mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip.  The luminous on the dial and hands are original, but of course no longer glow.  Between the center to the 2 o'clock position can see faded radium burns.  The watch will come with a brand new crystal.  The crown is unsigned but original to this watch.  It will come with a brand new 18mm handmade genuine leather strap.  Rare and well preserved vintage Longines similar to this is scarce in today's market.  Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
