For sale is a rare vintage 1950 Omega oversized Seamaster gentleman's watch. This early model features a vintage Seamaster dial that is unsigned and comes in an oversized case. The case measures 36.4mm in diameter, excluding the crown, and 45mm from lug tip to lug tip.
The watch has a solid stainless steel case, which is original and in very good unpolished condition, with the model reference CK 2493-8. It also has the original signed crown and a new acrylic crystal, along with the original metal case gasket.
The dial is a beautifully aged two-tone factory original. The watch has been professionally serviced and features a bumper automatic winding movement that runs solid and accurately, powered by the Omega calibre 332. The serial number 12246924 dates this timepiece to 1950.
This watch will come with a new 18mm genuine leather strap. Please note, the wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
