This is a rare and very attractive vintage Omega gent's watch with the center second feature. Since the dial has the words "Fab Suisse" printed on represent this piece to be a French market Omega watch. It is a genuine Omega watch, but was uniquely sold in the French market. The factory original finish unusual dial is nicely aged. Original set of syringe type hands. The case model is 2537-4 and is made of solid stainless steel. Case diameter is 35.5mm excluding the crown by 43.3mm from lug tip to lug tip. Brand new crystal and case gasket. The manual wind movement is an Omega caliber 283 and has a serial number 11733785 dating this watch to 1949. Will come with a brand new vintage style high quality handmade genuine leather strap.
