Up for sale is a rare vintage 1940's Omega center second bumper automatic gent's watch. This is a very early example of a vintage Seamaster model which first introduced in 1948. Therefore, during its early days some of the dial will not have the word "Seamaster" printed on. In 2018 Omega used this case model to introduce their 1948 Heritage Seamaster model to the market. Case size measuring 34.4mm in diameter excluding crown by 43.4mm lug tip to lug tip. 14k gold capped top over solid stainless steel original signed case in very good unpolished condition, model 2577- 5. There are visible light scratches mainly on the bezel of the watch. Original signed crown with gold cap missing on the top. The crystal is brand new. Brand new case back gasket. Rare factory original dial with unique attractive raise pyramid and Breguet numeral combination hour indexes. Dial is nicely aged with all the prints still visible. Gold hour indexes and original set of dauphine hands. Professionally serviced bumper automatic wind movement running strong and accurate. Omega caliber 351 with serial number 11571468 dating this watch to 1948. Will come with a 18mm brand new high quality handmade genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
