This is an original vintage Omega watch produced specifically for the Swedish market. It stands out from most vintage Omega watches for two main reasons:
1. The correct set of original hands is made of steel instead of gold to match the case.
2. The inside of the case back only features the stamps "JPB" and "14K," indicating the material of the case. "JPB" refers to J.P. Brandt, the official distributor for Omega in Sweden. Basically, this watch was only available for the Swedish market when it was first launched in the 1940s.The factory original dial on this piece is in exceptional condition. The fully serviced 30T2 manual-wind movement is functioning well and keeping excellent time. It also has the original signed crown. A new crystal has been fitted.
The movement's serial number is 11125998, which dates this watch to 1947. The solid 14k gold case measures 33.3mm across (excluding the crown) and 40.6mm from lug tip to lug tip.
