Here is a very rare early vintage Omega Bumper Automatic watch. It is very rare to encounter this early bumper automatic from the early to mid-1940s since they are the first generation of their kind. The majority have been perished over the years due to damage or used for parts. To find one this well preserved is seldom to come by. How often do you see automatic watches from the 1940s? Not very often that's for sure. This piece is in excellent original unpolished condition. The solid stainless steel case measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 43mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is CK 2421/3. Brand new crystal. The case gasket is original and slides onto the edge of the case back. Rare and well-aged factory original dial in great condition. Professionally serviced bumper automatic movement running strong and accurate. Movement caliber is 28.10 with serial number 10756996 dating this watch to 1946. This watch will come with a brand new 18mm high quality genuine leather strap. Ready for everyday wearing. Wrist size in photo is 6 inches.
