Here is a rare vintage Omega Suveran watch, also known as the "cigarette watch," originally made for the Swedish market during World War II. Swedish soldiers would trade their Suveran watches for packs of cigarettes, which led to this nickname. The Suveran was primarily produced to help financially support the Swedish government.
Today, only a limited number of Suveran watches remain, most of which have refinished dials or are in poor condition. However, this particular watch retains its original factory-finish dial and features the sought-after "Bullseye" variation. It includes a brand-new crystal and an original metal case back gasket.
This watch has a professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement, with a movement serial number of 10425664, dating it to 1945. The solid stainless steel case is unpolished and measures 35.2mm across (excluding the crown) and 42mm from lug to lug. The case model is 2400-7.
This watch is ready for daily wear and comes with a new 18mm vintage-style handmade genuine leather strap. The wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
