Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, which they got the name "cigarette watch." Most Suveran were sold to Swedish citizens to support their government financially. Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market, most of which are with refinished dials or in deplorable condition. This particular one retains its factory original finish and has a unique creamy sector finish. The watch will come with a brand-new crystal—original metal case gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 10427398, dating this watch to 1945. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35.3mm across, excluding the crown by 42.3mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-7.
