Here is a scarce Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military-style watch referred to as a cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, which they got the name "cigarette watch." Suveran is also mainly made for Swedish citizens to support their government financially during WW2. Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market, most of which are with refinished dials or in deplorable condition. This one retains its original factory finish with the bolded minute track variation. The watch will come with a brand-new crystal—original metal case back gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 10370914, dating this watch to 1945. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35.3mm across, excluding the crown by 42mm lug to lug. The case model is 2400-5. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm vintage-style genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo measures 6 inches.
