Here is a scarce Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military-style watch referred to as a cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, which they got the name "cigarette watch." Most Suveran were sold to Swedish citizens to support their government financially. Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market, most of which are with refinished dials or in deplorable condition. This particular one retains its factory original finish and has a unique creamy two-tone finish. Depending on the angle you look at the watch, usually under lighting, it will show some shiny discolouration as shown in two of the images. The watch will come with a brand-new crystal—original metal case gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 10470457, dating this watch to 1945. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35.2mm across, excluding the crown by 41.7mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-5. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo measures 6 inches.
