Here is a very rare Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military style watch. According to collectors, it is also known as the cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watches for cigarette pack and that is where they get the name "cigarette watch". Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exist in today's market. Most of which are with refinished dial or in very poor condition. This particular one still retain its factory original finish aged dial. The hands luminous are the original lumes. The watch will come with a brand new crystal. The watch still retain its original metal case back gasket. The crown for this case model is originally unsigned. The rare 30T2 manual wind movement has been professionally serviced. Movement serial number is 10426135 dating this watch to 1945. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 42.2mm lug tip to lug tip. Case model is 2400-7. Has personal engraving on the case back. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm croco grain genuine leather strap. Wrist size in photo measures 6 inches.
