This is an exceptionally fine and rare vintage Longines watch. It features a stunning military-style black factory original dial, which is rarely found in such excellent condition. The watch has been professionally serviced and is equipped with the Longines calibre 12.68Z manual wind movement, serial number 7003355, dating it to 1945. The movement looks brand new following the recent overhaul.
The solid stainless steel case is in remarkable unpolished condition. The case model is 23095 and measures 33.3mm across, excluding the crown, and 42.4mm from lug tip to lug tip. The luminous elements on the dial and hands are original but no longer glow due to their age. This watch will come with a brand-new crystal.
The crown is unsigned but original to the watch, and it will be paired with a new 16mm genuine leather strap. Vintage Longines watches of this rarity and preservation are scarce in today's market. For reference, the wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
