Here is a rare military-style Omega vintage watch, specifically tailored for the Swedish market during the World War II era. Collectors often refer to it as the "cigarette watch" because Swedish soldiers would trade their Suveran watches for packs of cigarettes, which gave rise to this nickname.
The watch features a uniquely aged factory original finish dial. It has a new crystal while retaining the original metal case gasket. The rare 30T2 manual wind movement has been professionally serviced, and the movement's serial number is 10130010, dating the watch to 1944.
The solid stainless steel case is unpolished and original, measuring 35.5mm across (excluding the crown) and 42.4mm from lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-2, and there is personal engraving on the case back. This watch is ready for daily wear and will come fitted with a new 18mm vintage-style genuine leather strap. Please note that the wrist size shown in the photo is 6 inches.
