Here is a rare military-style Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 era watch. According to collectors, it is also known as the cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watches for cigarette packs, where they got the name "cigarette watch." The factory's original dial is uniquely aged. The watch has a new crystal and retain its original metal case gasket. The rare 30T2 manual wind movement has been professionally serviced. The movement serial number is 10130010, which dates this watch to 1944. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35.5mm across, excluding the crown by 42.4mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-2 and there is personal engraving on the case back. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm vintage-style genuine leather strap.
