Here is a scarce Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military-style watch; some called it a cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, which they got the name "cigarette watch." Most Suveran were sold to Swedish citizens to support their government financially. Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market, most of which have refinished dials or are in deplorable condition. This particular one retains its factory original finish in well-aged condition. The watch will come with a brand-new crystal—original metal case gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 10197333, dating this watch to 1944. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35.3mm across, excluding the crown by 42.2mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-3. This watch is ready for daily wear and will come with a new genuine 18 mm leather strap. The wrist size in the photo measures 6 inches.
