It is very rare to encounter these early bumper automatic from the early to mid 1940s since they are the first generation of their kinds. Majority have been perished over the years due to damage or used for parts. To find one this well preserved is seldom to come by. How often do you see automatic watches from the 1940s? Not very often that's for sure. This piece is in excellent original unpolished condition. Solid stainless steel case measures 35mm across excluding the crown by 42mm lug tip to lug tip. Case model is CK 2374/4. Brand new crystal. The case back gasket is original and slide onto the edge of the case back. Rare and well aged factory original dial in great condition. Professionally serviced bumper automatic movement running strong and accurate. Movement caliber is 30.10 with serial number 10274023 dating this watch to 1944.
