Here is a scarce Omega vintage watch. This particular watch is a Swedish market World War 2 military-style watch refer to as a cigarette watch. Swedish soldiers used to trade their Suveran watch for cigarette packs, and that is where they get the name "cigarette watch." Of course, only a limited quantity of the Suveran exists in today's market. Most of which are with refinished dial or in deplorable condition. This particular one still retains its factory original finish and is one of the earlier version. The watch will come with a brand new crystal. Brand new case gasket. Professionally serviced rare 30T2 manual wind movement. The movement serial number is 9969228, dating this watch to 1943. The solid stainless steel unpolished case is original and measures 35mm across, excluding the crown by 42.3mm lug tip to lug tip. The case model is 2400-1. This watch is ready for daily wearing and will come fitted with a new 18mm vintage style handmade genuine leather strap. The wrist size in the photo measures 6 inches.
