Here is a rare and attractive vintage Omega British military watch, confirmed by the Extract from the Omega Archives. It was made for the British Military during the Second World War, presumably for the RAF (Royal Air Force).
The watch features a special factory original dial that has aged uniquely (originally white) along with a complete set of specially made blue steel spade hands, as indicated in the extract. The movement has been professionally serviced and is running strong and accurately.
This manual-wind watch has a 16-jewel movement, model Omega 30T2SC PC, with a serial number of 9539473, dating this timepiece to August 10th, 1942. The case model is CK 2292. The original duralumin stainless steel case measures 32.7mm across, excluding the crown, and 43.1mm from lug tip to lug tip. The case shows signs of wear and has military engravings on the case back. It has a brand new acrylic crystal and is ready for daily wear, coming fitted with a new 18mm genuine leather strap. The unsigned crown is original and correct.
