This is definitely one of the earliest Omega 30T2 out there in the market. They are first introduced in 1939, so to come across one dating to 1940 is extremely scarce. The dial on this timepiece is extremely rare due to the unique numeral and minute track combination. The factory original finish dial is untouched and do show signs of aged. Large sub second dial makes it even more attractive. The fully serviced 30T2 manual wind movement is working strong and accurate. Solid stainless steel unpolished original signed case. Original unsigned crown. A new crystal has been fitted on. The movement serial number is 9266710 dating this watch to 1940. Case model reads 10108362 and measures 32.6mm across excluding crown by 38 lug tip to lug tip. Will come with brand new genuine leather strap.
